Project 6

For this project I used the sytrus to make 2 synth sounds. For one i used a saw wave and for the other a sign wave. I start the loop out with my first synth pattern and a building kick drum beat. The drum beat that comes on is the main one that is used for the whole loop. I used the boo bass channel to write my bass part. I made a drum fill in the step sequencer which I use to break up the parts of my loop. The next sound I used is a little slower and was made from the seco0nd synth I created. I finish the loop by going back to the first pattern and fading it out. Hope you like it.

Project 5

For this project I wanted to go with a more mellow feel than the other things I have made. I used the voodoo sound for my riff machine. The sound is a little muddy but when I transposed it up an octave it sounded bad and I could not find another sound to fit the rest of the piece, so I ended up going with it. For the other sounds in the song I used various other 3x sounds. I built the song up and then brought it back down to its original part at the end. Hope you like it.
